The Acting for Screen class is designed for more experienced actors to explore their craft in front of a camera in a focused and professional environment. Set in the Toni Higginbotham Casting Studios with industry camera equipment and lighting, you will learn to improve your on-camera technique and become more comfortable in real-life casting and filming situations. Students will explore scene analysis, creative choice making and learn how to empower themselves within the industry through awareness of their strengths.

As part of the course, one class is dedicated to learning the ins-and-outs of working in Hollywood including mastering the American accent. The program will culminate with a presentation of your work to casting director and SDS Director Toni Higginbotham, who will provide feedback on your work.
